Built in 1916, St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Bisbee, AZ, is highly acclaimed for its size (given the population of about 8,000 in the community),
architecture (Late Gothic Revival),
its fine altar,
and multitude of large exquisite stained glass windows.
From outside the church, the colors of the windows were obscured, but when viewed from inside the church, the windows became a canvas for the beautiful artwork.
The 27 stained glass windows were designed by Emil Frei, the award-winning artist from the early 1900s whose Victorian designs are considered among the best in the world.
We spent a good deal of time admiring the windows of St. Patrick's.

Hmmmm Are they young and beautiful? or Aged and wise?
I'm sorry, but this gave me a chuckle this morning.
